Fracking
Fracking is the process of drilling and injecting fluid into the ground at a high pressure in order to shake rocks to release natural gas. Fracking is harmful!
During the fracking process, methane gas and toxic chemicals may leak out from the system and contaminate nearby ground water. EmpowerPAC supports candidates and legislation that demands transparency in the fracking process and opposes candidates who seek the unrestricted expansion of fracking.
